uReserve has four types users:
**If using the option to restrict the schedule to authorized users, then regular website visitors will NOT have any access to the uReserve Resource Schedule nor to make any reservations.
- Regular Website Visitors - These are regular visitors to your website. They do NOT have uReserve accounts. **They can view the uReserve Resource Schedule and make reservations.
- Regular uReserve Users - These are users that have been created via your uReserve Admin Control Panel but NOT given the special "Administrator" permission. Regular uReserve users can view the uReserve Resource Schedule and make reservations.
- uReserve Resource Owners - These are Regular uReserve Users (created via your uReserve Admin Control Panel) that have been designated as "Resource Owners" of one or more uReserve Resources. Resource owners can view the uReserve Resource Schedule, make reservations AND have full control over any "Resources" for which he/she has been designated the "Resource Owner" (via the Add/Edit Resource UI). Resource Owners can also edit resource information, print schedule details, send messages to all reservers and even view all details of "private" reservations for the Resources for which he/she owns.
- uReserve Admin Users - These are users that have been created via your uReserve Admin Control Panel and given the special "Administrator" permission. Admin users can view the uReserve Resource Schedule, make reservations and even view details of "private" reservations. Admin users can also access all features available in the Admin Control Panel and access all features available for each Resource such as printing schedule details and sending messages to all reservers on any given day.
By default, uReserve users do NOT need to login to view the uReserve Resource Schedule and/or make reservations. However, to access any of the Admin features, Admin Users or Resource Owners need to login via the "Login" link that is shown in the upper right-hand corner of the uReserve Resource Schedule.
The first time attempting to login (or whenever the user forgets his/her password), the user will need to follow the link on the bottom of the Login Form that says "Forgot your password or need to active your account?" This will link to a form by which you can specify your email address (a.k.a. your username) and a link to set/reset your password will be emailed to the specified email address. Follow the link in the email and then specify a new password to complete the password reset/account activation.
NOTE: All users must first be created by a uReserve Administrator (via the "Add User" or "Import Users" feature on the Admin Control Panel).
