|Im using V3 on Apache (UNIX) system. I was wonder is it would be possible to have the costumer login and remember there NAME ADD...ect for a return visit, (so they dont need to fill all the info in agian? I under stand this can be done with cookies , but i rather do it with the server side, knowing that some people have cookies turned off! :)|

|uShop 3.0 does have the option to record customer information in a bar-delimited "ushop-customers" log file...but there is no way at this time to allow customers to login and have the uShop CGI script do a lookup on that information.... Perhaps in a future release.

|You could always use a script/cookie to do this for you - presuming the person doesn't clear their cookies on a regular basis...|
I've a couple of "freebie" examples from various java resources. Only problem with them, is they don't seem to work for AOL - can't work out why.

I have another client that really would like this option. How hard would it be to create a cookie.pl and ushop.pl to accommodate this feature. It should be able to query customer log and match customer name then populate form fields.
I think it would be a great add on.
