error when using coupon number

hello, when using a coupon number to give a discount on products we are getting this error message when linking to linkpoint at checkout.

"Amount must be equal to subtotal + tax + shipping"

everything seems to work fine up to that point. the web address is and the coupon code is 10023 for three bottles and 10021 for a single bottle. please note for anyone reading this that these are the real coupon numbers and they will expire on 11-20-02.

There are a couple ways to correct that, but here is the easiest one:

STEP 1: Make a backup of your current script... just in case.

STEP 2: Open your script with any text editor such as WordPad.

STEP 3: Do a search on the following text:

NAME="subtotal" VALUE="$subtotal3"

(There will be exactly 1 occurance of that text in the entire script.)

STEP 4: Replace that exact text with this exact text:

NAME="subtotal" VALUE="" . ($subtotal3 - $current_discount_fee) . ""

STEP 5: Save the script... as TEXT if your editor asks... and try it out!

Let me know if you have any problems.

Thanks Bill. That worked great.
