Removing Products when a page loads
Author Ken Krickbaum on 02-03-2000 at 18:12 (EST)
Hello again!

This time I have a rather simple question.

I need to Remove all of the products from the Shopping cart when a page loads.

I would like to use the onload="" function.
With not understanding all of your JAVA code for uShopProducts.class, I would like to find out the call to make.

A simple call from the HTML onload to execute the uShopProducts.removeAllProducts() method is all that I need.

Thanks again,

I don't know myself. I'll forward your question to our developers.

Well, it wasn't easy, but I got it.

I just created a class file for removing all items in the shopping cart when the page is loaded.

Here is the applet HTML code (without the Greater than and less than signs)

applet CODE="RemAlluShop.class" codebase="/scripts/ushop/" WIDTH="0" HEIGHT="0"

Anyone who wants the RemAlluShop.class file that I created, just email me.

And for those who are afraid of code from someone you don't know, then here is the Java code to compile.

import java.applet.Applet;
import java.awt.*;

class RemAlluShop extends uShopCartBase {

public void init() {

Hope this helps someone.

It is great if your are processing orders through and app and return a reciept page outside of uShop, then the receipt page clears out the shopping cart.

Thanks edmond for the try.
