Product Data Arrangement
Author Ricky Johnson on 08-15-2000 at 22:57 (EST)
How do I change the layout of the actual product data that is displayed. I need to show the Product ID for each product. I would also like to show the data in a columnar format using tables. Has anyone already done this?

Table Of Contents

1) In regard to displaying the Product ID, here are two options:

- Just put the product ID in the description field. In fact, if you start the description off with "Product ID: 12345"...followed by a carriage return, you'll probably get the same effect.

- Otherwise, submit a support request and we'll give you instructions how to modify the script to achieve that.

2) In regard to listing the product data in columns, that is not possible at this time. The items will always be displayed one after another on the page.

You've said that it's impossible to have more than one product on the page at this time.
Is it going to be possible any time soon?
I do need to show several of my products with pictures on search/browse output pages.
Any suggestions?

No, I said it was not possible to arrange products in columns at this time.

You can put as many products as you want on a's just that each product will be listed below the previous. (ie. in rows - not columns)
