billing_extra1 field name....

I'm so close, to purchase. I'm almost through the trial stage but have a curious question. The client likes to see titles of people who order (i.e. President, VP, etc.)

So, I simply took advantage of the extras in the control panel. I know that making this field required would *not* be a good idea. So, I typed nothing to the right.

Question 1: What will the customer receipt look like? Will it print "billing_extra1: President"

Question 2: Client has 3 paragraphs in the autoresponder to be mailed along w/receipt. Are all of these paragraphs going to run together (I thought I saw this problem about carriage returns in another post)

Is there any work around in getting the paragraphs to read properly?

Thanks for your response...

1) Actually, if the customer does enter a value into that "billing_extra1" field, it will just be displayed on the order receipt as the value he/she entered.... without any label... as per this section of code in the "get_text_receipt" subroutine:

if ($billing_extra1 =~ /S/)
$text .= $billing_extra1 . "n";

Note however, the default location of the billing_extra fields is to be added directly AFTER the other billing address fields. So a typical text receipt might look like this:

John Smith
123 Main Street
Los Angeles
Phone: 555-5555
Fax: 555-5556

However, if you would rather have the "billing_extra1" field displayed right under the name, then it would not be difficult for you to move that section of code up a little bit in the "get_receipt_text" subroutine.

2) As of uShop 3.3, you can add carriage returns to the message displayed on the email receipt. See the 12/07/00 update posted at:
