applet 11 question

taking a look at utest applet 11 (for multiple-choice questions). i'm thinking i can use this applet for a match the item in column 1 with the item in column 2 type question. what i'm wondering is:

1) how do i create the text answers which go in the .class directory.

2) if i create this, can i use the utest next button (which shows the answers in another frame). if this can be done, how?

please let me know.

...if i hear "can we add..." one more time, i think i'll scream.

You could of course use a single uTestAnswer11 applet on a page with a single uTestNextButton. The uTestNextButton would have the "expected_answer" set to "A,B" where A is the 1st selected answer in the uTestAnswer11 applet and B is the 2nd selected answer in the uTestAnswer11 applet. (Basically, the two selections from the uTestAnswer11 applet are recorded with a comma (,) between the selections)

Now if you're looking to have more than 1 uTestAnswer11 applet for the same column-matching type question... then unfortunately, there isn't a way to tie the uTestNextButton in with multiple applets at the same time. That is, the uTestNextButton applets work with one uTestAnswer applet at a time.

What you may be able to do is setup a frame which basically prompts the user (with another uTestAnswer11 applet) for each item in the column-matching question.... and then have another uTestNextButton after each prompt. (Basically forcing the user to enter each item in the column-matching question one at a time... and in order.)
