Author Patrick on 02-05-2002 at 21:22 (EST)
Is their a way to add a header and footer to the log in screens for a user checking their affiliate status? Also how can I change the default table color from light grey to red?

To customize that "Affiliate Login" screen, you would have to modify the "create_affiliate_login" subroutine in the script. Here are some tips on how:

STEP 1: Make a backup of your current "" script... just in case.

STEP 2: Open your script with any text editor such as WordPad.

STEP 3: Do a seach on the following line:

sub create_affiliate_login

This will get you to the start of the subroutine that displays the affiliate login form. You should be able to recognize the HTML in that subroutine... so you can modify it as desired.

STEP 4: After making the modifications, save the script... as TEXT if your editor asks... and try it out!

Good luck!

I don't know what type of "header" and "footer" you want to put on that form, but as an example, if you want to add an image, then you might add this line:

print " < IMG SRC="" > ";

Directly after the BODY line:

print " < BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" > ";

And as for changing the color of the login box from gray to red... then in that subroutine, you would just change the color:

to something like
