Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do!
Westlake Elementary will be hosting the annual Walk-A-Thon, on Friday, April 26, 2024. Each grade will have a designated 30-minute walk session.
To keep fundraising simple we are asking for a flat-donation that is not based on laps walked/run. However, to keep kids motivated they can set a goal for the number of laps and will be able to keep track of them on the day of the event.
If you would like to collect cash or checks (made payable to Westlake PTA), you can keep track of your donations on the pledge sheet sent home in student folders.
This event is an important fundraiser with 100% of the proceeds going to the Westlake for music, art, dance, PE, Life Lab, classroom learning assistants, and playground coaches.
If each student raises $25 in donations, we will reach our goal of $10,000!
Two class parties will be awarded: TK-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade class with the highest number of participants will win a popsicle party and extended recess.
All students meeting the fundraising goal of $25 by May 6th will be entered in a drawing to win prizes.
