We would like to use the print payment option for customers who would prefer to pay using a money order or check. I think have this set up correctly, the button displays a page for the customer to print. However, the order is not logged and the shopping cart is not cleared. Can we use this option and have the order e-mailed to us and also logged to be viewed with the 'Order Reader'?
Unfortunately, uShop was intentionally designed **not** to log orders that are printed for mailing. The reason behind this is based on the philosophy that the printing of an order order does not guarantee that the customer will complete the order process by mailing it to the storeowner. This is also why uShop does not log orders on the server until a payment processing check has been verified. (An interesting fact: Statistics indicate that 75% of most online store shopping carts are abandoned instead of processed.)
