I'm getting the above message whent trying to use a Switch card (my own) to test my system. It works fine with my visa card. Have I missed something simple?

When entering your credit card number:

1) Did you select the correct credit card type?

2) And what is the EXACT name that you gave your "Switch Card" credit card type?

Thanks, I'd set up the Switch option but hadn't selected it.

My customer seems to be experiencing the invalid credit card syndrome also. I get a few calls a day and they can't be all idiots.. so it must be on my end :)

I'm not sure what a switch card is, unless it's a debit/credit card. Yet have seen no information or options for in in Ushop.

Is there a way to over ride this credit card check process as I run all charges manually anyway?

Hello Shawn,

A Switch card is an all electronic debit card payment system very popular in Europe.

In regard to the validation, we perform the validation based on the credit card type, the credit card number prefix, the number of characters in the credit card number, and then finally by performing a checksum calculation. There is off-hand, no setting to turn off credit card validation, although I will look further into it.

Hope this helps.
