|In the general settings area you have the option of creating coupon ID#'s and giving them a value.|
When a customer redeems a coupon what is the action that the cart takes? Other that putting the coupon number on the invoice.... Should it not indicate that the coupon was accepted and show a credit amount on the invoice?

|I went to re-check the order process and found that the customer did not use a valid coupon number... Could or should some type of checking routine be build into the post to check for a valid entry?

|Right now the only way to see if the coupon was accepted is to see the actual discount on the "REVIEW ORDER" page. But possibly adding a warning message is not a bad idea. We may be able to do a check that if the customer tries to type in a coupon - but the coupon is not valid - to maybe give a warning message. Look for it in a future release.|
