|I do not receive an email notification either when an order is placed or when the customer marks the order as contact me. I have indicated in the general settings both a primary and two secondary email addresses. The diagnostic test does send an email message. |

|The diagnostic test only sends an e-mail to your primary address only, that is why you don't get the e-mail at your secondary e-mail addresses when you run the test. |
Now the difference between the diagnostic test and your actual store functionality depends on whether you are using a payment gateway or not - and if you are, whether you are getting a successful response back from that gateway.
If we could take a look at your settings perhaps we will be able to determine what the problem is.
