|My server uses "CGIWRAP" to process the CGI scripts in secure mode. Since the secure server is not my own, I use my ISPs. So in order to call the script to process the order I have to put the following line in: "https://www.myISPsdomain.com/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/myaccount/ushop_cgiscript.pl"|
This works great. Now this is the line for UShopOrderCGI.class which is on my order template file. When you click on "Send Order" it works fine. It was brought to my attention, that when customers click to go to the order template to actually fill out their information, that order template should also be accessed via the secure server. So, I tried setting up the "SecureOrderButtonCGI" but it's not working very well. On the "scriptpath" parameter I entered the path to my "ushop_cgiscript.pl" just like it appears before. Problem is, every time I press the "Secure Order" button, it comes back with "ushop_cgiscript.pl" not found. The file is certaintly there, so it seems as the "SecureOrderButtonCGI" applet has a problem with the CGIWRAP function on the server. How do I go around it? Purchasing my own certificate is out of the question. Please don't tell me to double check my settings, everything is right, cause everything is working except the "Secure Order" button.

There are several things you can check on your setup. Iv'e included an url to our reference site. It contains some excellent info on secure orders. Check the section on wrapping the scriptpath parameter closely.
Also, I just wanted to remind you that your old setup accomplished secure orders. By utilizing the ushopOrderButtonCGI you move the secure part of the process one step earlier allowing the customer to see the secure "lock" while they are filling out the order.
If you get the copyright notice with your path to the perl script on the secure server (which you must, since it was working) then there should not be any problem with "CGIWRAP".
Hope this helps,

|CGIWRAP would not be causing the problem that you are describing. If you successfully can see the uShop Copyright Page when you go to the full URL of the ushop_cgiscript.pl on your secure server:|
Then the uShopOrderButtonCGI applet will not have any problem if you set the "scriptpath" parameter to that same full URL:
I know you say that everything is setup correctly, but based on the error that you are describing:
"ushop_cgiscript.pl" not found
....I would really double-check "scriptpath" parameter of your uShopOrderButtonCGI applet.

|The best I've been able to accomplsh using the UShopOrderButtonCGI applet is a messed up "secure" order template page. The top half of it is occupied by a gray area of an instance of the UShopOrderCGI java applet that hasn't properly loaded and right below it is the UShopOrderCGI applet displayed correctly. Now putting my mouse over the "gray" area gives the error ushop_cgiscript.pl not found. The rest of the page is fine and to the best of my knowledge orders get submitted correctly. I would like the "gray" area to go away cause it doesn't look too good. Any help would be appreciated.
