500 Internal Server Error

I have configured the script as directed, using the full path to HTML files directory.

I have tried using the domain name as well as the IP address - neither successfully.

Details as follows:

#!/usr/bin/perl
$script_url = "http://64.176.14.13/cgi-bin/udirectory.cgi";
$html_url = "http://64.176.14.13/prodserv/";
$html_directory = "/home/gerry/petsatplay-www/prodserv";

All of these seem to be what the host requires.

Permissions have been set up correctly:

755 for script, and 777 for listings directory, called 'prodserv'.

Where else would you suggest I look?

Frustratedly yours,

Gerry

When a Server Error occurs just when trying to go to the URL of the script, then the problem will normally be one of the three listed in Section 2 at:

http://www.uburst.com/uDirectory/troubleshooting.html

So double-check that... particularly the part about transferring the script in ASCII mode.

If that still does not resolve the problem... then perhaps the script was accidentally corrupted while you were editing the configuration questions... In which case, either try starting over with a fresh copy of the script... or send your script to me at support@uburst.com and I will take a look at it for you.
