uDirectory HTML Generated Pages
Author Bob on 09-11-2000 at 07:35 (EST)
I have a directory that alows for paid banners and have problem with combining this feature with uDirectory. The command is an SSI and I need the pages generated as .shtml rather than .html. Is this mod possible? I could then use the SSI command in the header HTML to work with the .shtml generated pages. This is critical to my business directory.

Thanks for any and all reponses!

Bob

P.S. I am using WebAdverts for my paid banners.

Unfortunately, there is no simple way to configure the listing pages to have the ".shtml" extension instead of the ".html" extension.

What you could try, however, is just doing a simple search-and-replace on the script. That is, use any text editor (such as WordPad) and do a search and replace on ".html" to ".shtml". I just tried it myself with the Deluxe Edition and it seemed to work fine.... but you might want to keep a backup just in case.

If you need any assistance, send us a support request and we will assist.
