I'm having trouble importing data...I'm just using notepad & my excel database (for formatting), I attach my data to the txt file but my data does not show up in the display...and when I add a link via the program it wipes out my "notepad & excel records" uploaded data?

Providing your data files corresponded to the format described in section 13 of the uDirectory Deluxe User's Guide:

http://www.uburst.com/uDirectory/deluxe_users_manual.html#SECTION13

I would have just said to make sure that you use the "Generate HTML" utility to re-generate all of the HTML page from your newly imported data.

However, since you mention that not only did the data not show up in the display, but it also appears to get wiped out when adding additional listings... I would have to say it sounds like the file may have been transferred to your server in BINARY transfer mode.... as opposed to ASCII or TEXT transfer mode.... The data files should be transferred in ASCII or TEXT transfer mode, so double-check that... And if that doesn't work, send one of the data files that you are trying to import to me at support@uburst.com and I will take a look at it.

Thanks for the help on inporting, it seems to be working ok now but...now that I've transfered my data & generated html when I display the data it shows the word "NONE" for all of the fields? Is there an issue with having or not having a space after the "&pip;" within each record?

The spaces are Ok.... but if all of the fields are appearing as NONE... then it sounds like the there may be a problem with the KEYWORD on each line of your file. So make sure the 3-Letter Keyword on each line is correct....and if you don't notice anything wrong there, then send me one of your data files (at support@uburst.com) and I will take a look at it.
