Please add "Web Search" option to the search panel which allows visitors search the web right from where they are (any category, any page).

We'll add that feature for consideration into our future feature wish list. In the meantime, however, remember that you can add custom HTML to the TOP, MIDDLE, or BOTTOM of each category page via the Category Form's "TOP HTML", "MIDDLE HTML", or "BOTTOM HTML". So perhaps you can add your own web search link.

Actually, I would suggest just linking to one of the current search engines. For instance, the URL below describes how to put a "Search Box" on your web page that actually uses the Lycos search engine:

http://www.lycos.com/linktolycos.html#searchform

So you can put that HTML in one of the uDirectory custom HTML entry fields.
