In order for sales tax to be correctly charged, it appears essential that the client correctly spell the name of their state.

If they mispell their state (eg Washignton) then no tax is calculated.

Is it possible to have a pulldown menu on the checkout form to avoid this type of error?

We actually have a version of uStorekeeper with drop-down lists for the states and countries. So go ahead and submit a support request at:

http://www.uburst.com/supportform.html

... with your license number and ask for version:

"version 1.83 with STATE/COUTRY Drop Downs"

We'll then send you the necessary ustorekeeper-lib.pl file.

I tried to send in the request as you suggested, but the Support Request Form doesn't work - you have an internal configuration error.

I could send the Licence # etc by email, if you give me your email address. I am at mbittle@newfocus.net

I checked the error logs and it appears that you were entering your email address with a comma before the "net":

mbittle@newfocus,net

... so that was causing the error. Try it again (without that comma :^) ... and the support request will go through.
