Adding both Regular Price and Sales Price, with color options
Author Mark Bishop on 02-17-2000 at 18:12 (EST)
I noticed many e-commerce sites use an aged-old sales strategy by having both a "Regular" price and then a "Sales" price next to it. Many sites highlight the "Sales" price in red and often use a line through the middle of the regular price.

I think it would be cool if uStoreKeeper added below the *PRICE option a SALES price too. And then allow for a color option for the sales price.
If a sales price was included, then the regular *PRICE would be displayed with a line through the text which is an HTML font display.

Thanks!

You can add a "regular price" note in a different color to a product now by adding something like this to the description field:

FONT COLOR="#FF0000"
Regularly Priced at $25.00
/FONT

(with less-than/greater-than signs around the FONT keywords..this forum didn't let me post the less-than/greater-than signs).
