Want flat rate charge for Gift Wrapping.

I understand that the script automatically charges whatever amount you choose times the number of products in the cart. Can I set it up so that it charges one amount per order?

There is not an easy way to configure the gift wrapping charges to be added as one constant charge per order (as opposed to the regular charge per item), but here are a few options:

1) Perhaps you can configure two different shipping methods... one for regular orders and one that includes gift wrapping, such as:

Standard Shipping
Standard Shipping with Gift Wrapping

... and then have the shipping charges of the second method calculate in your fee for gift wrapping.

2) Otherwise, since the charge you want is pretty easy, you could try following these steps to make a one-line change to the "ustorekeeper.pl" file:

STEP 1: Open the file "ustorekeeper.pl" with any text editor such as WordPad.

STEP 2: Do a search on the following line:

$current_giftwrap_cost = $charge_per_giftbox * $current_quantity;

(There will only be one occurance of that line).

STEP 3: Change that line to something like:

$current_giftwrap_cost = 5.00;

(Where 5.00 is actually the flat fee you want to charge for giftwrapping)

STEP 4: Save the file (as text if your editor asks)... and Try it out!
