Hide the weight column How?
Author Heather on 02-16-2001 at 14:16 (EST)
Hi there,

I'm using using subtotal table in the weight table to calculate shipping so I can tag certain items as free shipping with a weight of zero.
2 quick questions:

1) Please can you direct me how to hide the weight column in the first cart display after the "begin the order process"?

It's going to look real funny with "prices" listed instead of "weights"!

2) The weight doesn't get typed into the e-mail order confirmation does it?

Thanks for your response!

1) You can hide the WEIGHT column on the "Review Cart" page ... and all subsequent order pages ... by setting the "cart_show_weight" parameter of the uShopOrderButton applet to "NO":

< PARAM NAME="cart_title_color" VALUE="#B3D9FF" >

2) I don't believe the WEIGHT column is displayed on the email receipts... but by setting the above "cart_show_weight" parameter to "NO" ... it definitely will not show up on the emails.

Can you tell I cut-n-pasted the parameter above? :^o

The above posting should read:

< PARAM NAME="cart_show_weight" VALUE="NO" >

Duh!

I knew it was a simple overlook...

Sorry for the repost above, and thanks.
