Which loads the pages faster the Applets or the scripts. I made a sample page and the scripts page seems to load faster. Is their any advantages/disadvantages to one over the other?

Thanks, thats what I thought. Now I only have about 900 of them to change
It would be nice if someone made a plug-in for Frontpage or found a way to ask the questions such as ID, Description, Price, etc and then write the script. I will be using P00002 for 95% of the site.
Guess this should have gone in the Wish List.
For anyone using Frontpage there is a script editor that makes it a little easier. It is not normally installed but is on the CD. Just go to tools, macros, Microsoft Script Editor if it isn't installed it will ask if you want to install it.

900!....yea, that sounds like a lot of work without some sort of a tool or utility. We'll add it to our future features list...unless someone else comes up with one in the meantime....

I have been testing them out as I go. If you have some time I would appreciate it if you could take a look and see if I am doing it right before I get into trouble. The link to the new pages is http://www.excess-solutions.com/new/ then on the Index scroll down to Fans 12VDC. All of these are done now. It is ok to actually place an order if you want, as it will come to me.
I like the looks of the pages with the scripts buttons on them. I will be making some cosmetic changes to the ordering pages later.

(I'm sure you already know this, but you can change the "Add To Cart" and the "Begin Order Process" gifs if you like....just remember that the "Begin Order Process" gif is actually located in your "classes" directory since it is loaded dynamically by the uShopOrderButton applet).

No. That will not have anything to do with the Mac IE5 bug. The problem with the Mac IE5 bug has to do with not allowing the various shopping cart applets to update.
Thanks to some Mac users who have volunteered to help us do some controlled testing with Macs, we have been narrowing down the Mac IE 5 problem and developing a work around it. In fact, our best guess at this time is TEST 1 at:
Which uses some new "Threaded" shopping cart applets. But we are still working on that.
