Altering Order Template in Version 3

I tried altering off the Florida tax info and tried to change the coupon field to gift certificate as we do sell gift certificates. I modified the order_template.html file however it doesn't seem to take it off. I can look at the actual html file and it isn't there, however when you get to the customer info panel, it's as though I never touched it. Everything is back to what it originally was. What am I doing wrong?

The only place the "Florida Tax" verbiage is specified, is on the "order_template.html" file that is located in the "cgi" directory that is created when you installed uShop on your local computer. That is, if you open that "order_template.html" file and do a search on something like:

"!-- Tax Rate --"

You should be able to see where it says:

"For orders sent to FL, please select the tax rate for that area: "

And then be able to modify/delete it as needed.

If you’ve already done that and are still seeing the "FL Tax" note on the order form, then make sure that you transferred the modified "order_template.html" file to your new "data" directory (or "orders" directory) on your server.
