uShopOrderButton.class Modification

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to replicate the uShopOrderButton.class so that you can use a text link or image map sector to pass product information to cart rather than the button option.

Thanks again, great cart!!

I don't believe this can be done, but I can check into it for you.

Any news? I'd like to have a text link as well.

So instead of using the uShopOrderButton applet you just want use an image map? That is really not recommended, but here is how it could technically be done:

STEP 1: Put the uShopOrderButton applet on your "place order" page. You can make it "invisible" by setting the WIDTH/HEIGHT of the applet to something really small such as WIDTH=2 HEIGHT=2 or you can just use a blank image for the applet. In any case, it must still be on that page so that the parameters --- such as the "script_url" --- still get set.

STEP 2: Add a link from your image map (or whatever other linking method you use) to the "display_cart.html" page that is located in your "classes" directory.

These two steps should allow bypass the customer the uShopOrderButton applet and begin the order process from your image map (or other) link.

Again, this is not recommended.
