Auction Payment Applet

It would be nice to have an applet that would allow winning bidders on auctions to pay for their items on our secure server using the shopping cart. The applet should have the following provisions:

1. Auction name - this could be the ID param and have a drop down box so different auctions could be chosen. i.e. Ebay, Amazon, etc.

2. Item # - this could be the NAME param where they could enter the auction item number.

3. Decription - this could be the Option1 param they could enter a brief description just so we know were are talking about the right item.

4. Quantity - this could be the Quantity param would only be used for Dutch Auctions when they bid on more that one of an item.

5. Price - this could be the Price param where they enter the amount of the winning bid.

6. Shipping Charges - Where they can enter the shipping amount specified in the auction ad. Most people use a flat shipping fee for auction items.

Thanks

Just put a form on your secure server, why use UShop at all?

That would mean having another form for orders. I had a hard enough time training people to get the ushop orders off of the secure server.
This way it would appear as any other order.

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Thanks to the new script feature in 3.0 I was able to make the applet I wanted. It was easier than I thought.

If anyone would like to use it you can see it at
http://www.excess-solutions.com/new/ebay.htm or if it is after 9-1-2000 it will be at http://www.excess-solutions.com/ebay.htm
