Grey boxes with IE 5.0

I wrote:My customers are complaining about their IE 5 browser showing grey boxes on the secure order pages. I read one of your "fixes" from an earlier post, but I never had the "codebase=https..." just ../classes . I even get hung up using my IE 5, but not every time, and always on the order pages. What can I do since 50% of the people have IE 5?

and you asked what does the message say at the bottom. It says: "(1 item remaining)Opening page uShopcgi.pl?cmd=order&pag=checkorderpage.html&dat=..." that's all I can see. The applet stays grey and never loads, (but sometimes it does). It seems to get the browser "clogged". If it works once, then I come back it won't load the applet. (although mousing over the applet, it says "applet loaded". What gives? ALL of my codebases are written, CODEBASE="../classes" as I have indicated in my initial e-mail and are coming from the unsecure server, just when the ushop_cgiscript.pl is called up (scriptpath), that is coming secure "https//...ushop_cgiscript.pl".

David,

What version of uShop are you using?

What messages do you see in the message bar along the bottom of the browser when the applets are trying to load.

Please send an url for your site as well.
