unknown order number, unable to locate the order file
Author David on 01-02-2000 at 22:35 (EST)
I am getting the orders ok, and they are viewable in my ftp program, but when I make a "my_orders.html" page, it tells me, "unknown order number, unable to locate the order file". But, I am using the EXACT order number and I can see it in my ftp, why won't the order reader work?
I am using uShop 2.0 on Unix, CuteFTP, with my OrderReader.class in my cgi-bin/classes directory (using codebase of course-I do get the orders), and also cgi-bin/my_orders.html to try to read them, but to no avail. I have put the "./orders" on line 10 of the cgiscript.pl, and for some reason, it does write to my /cgi-bin/orders directory,(instead of the main directory/orders). The security part is throwing me off. What should I write on my "my_orders" page to get my secure orders by order number? By the way, the paths I am using on "my_orders" page is: APPLET CODE = "uShopOrderReaderCGI.class" codebase="https://secure25.schmolie.com/www.webmicester.com/web/classes/" WIDTH=450 HEIGHT=150
PARAM NAME=scriptpath VALUE="https://secure25.schmolie.com/www.webmicester.com/web/cgi-bin/ushop_cgiscript.pl". (Not all broken up of course your write window made it look all chopped up. They are both on 1 line each.)

Am I calling up my "my_orders" page correctly, or what URL should I use a path through my secure server to the "cgi-bin/orders" directory or regular http://??

Thank you.

Duh, I was putting the "U" before the number. Everyone make sure on the "order reader page" that you type in only the number.
U235653145 = incorrect
235653145 = Correct
