|On the ISP's server, in my /cgi/data directory, there are several ####.tmp files. The #### looks like an order number. The data in these files looks like order-type data.|
Shouldn't all these be showing in the Order Reader? Read Orders shows "No orders to delete"
This seems to be an ongoing problem for me..diagnostics says everything is OK. I think I've still got my path to the data directory set up wrong, even though everything works just fine.
Please help. If we have to, I'll give you (privately, of course) access to my site.

|When using one of the built-in payment processing system interfaces (Authorize.Net, LinkPoint, PlanetPayment, or ClickPay) to process the payment information, ".tmp" files are used to temporarily store the order information while the customer is transferred to the external payment processing system to enter his/her payment information. Upon entering his/her payment information, the external payment processing system transfers the customer back to the uShop CGI scripts....and it is at that time that the ".tmp" file is re-read and used to create the final order file.|
If you are seeing ".tmp" files remaining in your data directory, that would be caused by customers starting the order process... but aborting the order process while entering their payment information into the external payment processing system.
(So in other words, those .tmp files indicate orders that were never actually completed by the customer).
