Resource field colors
Author Ed on 04-06-2002 at 11:01 (EST)
Hello, Is there a way to change the color of the resource fields:

$resource_field1
$resource_field2
$resource_field3
$resource_field4
$resource_field5
So the text could be red or something. Or Bold the text.

Thanks,

When you click on a reservation to see the details of the reservation, the "view_reservation" subroutine is called to display those fields. So you may be able to modify that subroutine to display the fields however you like. Here are some tips:

STEP 1: Make a backup of your ureserve.pl script... just in case.

STEP 2: Open your ureserve.pl with any text editor such as WordPad.

STEP 3: Do a search on the following line in order to get to the start of the subroutine that displays the reservation details:

sub view_reservation

STEP 4: About 90 lines into that subroutine, you should see where the HTML starts being printed.

print "Content-type: text/htmlnn";

STEP 5: About 20 lines further you'll see where those fields are printed. You should be able to add whatever addition HTML you want there to change the color and/or bold the font.

STEP 6: Save the script... as TEXT if your editor asks... and try it out!
