Pop-Up Alert

I would like to refresh a page without the pop up alert: "The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information. Click Retry to send the information again, or click Cancel to return to the page that you were trying to view" I would like just to refresh and post the information. Is there a way around this? I have seen some JavaScript examples, but I don't know if this works in with PERL?

There is really no way around that message as it is a function of the browser to display that message before POSTing the information to the CGI script again.

There may be a setting in your browser somewhere to turn that message off, but even if there was, that would only resolve it for your particular browser and not all of your regular website visitors.

In general, however, it is a very common message that get encontered whenever the browser detects that your are POSTing the same data to any CGI script subsequent times.
