Hi,

I think if you allow the people that buy this script the ability to make their own header and footer information. This would allow us to make the CGI script to look more like our own sites. Might even make your script more desirable to new people, and they might be more likely to buy!!

:)

Thanks,
William

We tried to add some flexibility in that area by adding the Custom TOP, MIDDLE, and BOTTOM HTML fields to each category in the Deluxe Edition... However, the eventual plan is to allow you to create your own layout template... similar to what we added to uStorekeeper:

http://www.uburst.com/uStorekeeper/layouts.html

I'm not sure when that feature will get into the Deluxe Edition... nor if we will try to implement it into the regular Business Edition. For now, however, you may be able to make some customizations to the Header/Footer of your Business Edition pages by taking a look at the "add_category" subroutine. You should be able to recognize where the HTML for the pages is generated in that subroutine.

Bill,

I noticed that no updates have been made to the UDirectory, I was looking into it as I already have ushop but this was something I was looking into for a website I am building for classified ads...would love this if it would weave better into an existing website like Ushop does...any ideas if it ever will.
