off-line processing of credit cards
Author Al T on 11-01-2002 at 01:16 (EST)
I want to use Ustorkeeper or Ushop but I do not want to process my orders on line. We rather wait and process the order when it is ready for shipment. Is that possible with these two programs?

Thank you,
Al

Both uShop and uStorekeeper have the ability to handle off-line credit card transactions. Either product can be configured so that orders with the sensitive credit card information are written to a file on your secure server. The orders can then be accessed via the order reader and processed at the store owners convenience. Note if you choose to process orders using this method you will need a secure server to write and store your order files to.

I've been offline processing for several years using both ustorekeeper and ushop.. with no glitches at all. I recommend it highly!
