I recently changed the credit card processing from Authorize.net to LinkPoint and changed the setting in the "general Settings" tab to reflect this change. But now when a customer places an order and pays through LinkPoint, Ustorekeeper doesn't record the order. There is a .cart file reflecting the pre-order cart but the order file is never created wheneve the transaction is done through linkpoint. however, whenever a customer choses "print order form" ustorekeeper records the order correctly.
what is the problem?

LinkPoint has its own control panel that must be setup in order to utilize it as a payment processing interface with uShop. This could be where the problem lay. More information can be found at-

I double checked all the linkpoint choices and everything is correct. all the "print order form" orders are recorded by ustorekeeper but none of the linkpoint purchases are.
what else could the problem be?

The "Print" order option will not transfer the customer to LinkPoint at all.... so that is why that option is working fine with uStorekeeper.

As for why LinkPoint credit card orders are not being recorded... that sounds like one or more of the settings described at:

http://www.uburst.com/uStorekeeper/linkpoint.html

...are not setup correctly. Double-check those settings again... especially the "Thank You Page URL.

Also:

1) Can you tell if the credit card information is properly being collected by LinkPoint?

2) After the credit card information is collected by LinkPoint, does the customer successfully get returned back to your uStorekeeper CGI script?

3) If you give us the URL, we'll take a look at it.
