Authorize.net Compatible Card Processing
Author dwallphx on 10-06-2001 at 23:11 (EST)
I am using a credit card payment service called www.2checkout.com . They accept the same parameters as Authorize.net. The only modification required is to change the url from authorize.net to theirs. Everything seems to work ok and the order information gets transferred fine, but uStoreKeeper DOES NOT log the order and I have no orders to read and get information from.

If I don't use the 3rd. party processing and use internal credit card option or electronic checking option, the orders are recorded OK.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to correct it?

Sincerely,

Daniel Wallace

uStorekeeper's interface to AuthorizeNet passes a unique set of information from the cart to the payment processing interface. I'm not sure what would be involved in linking to 2checkout.com, but as you say, it does receive the order information. uStorekeeper isn't passed back the AuthorizeNet info of a confirmed and completed order, so it can't register the order in the Order Reader. I'm not aware if this would be a simple fix or workaround or a major retooling involved, but I can check if need be.

Hello again,

Re-reading that reply, I realize it may sound a tad confusing.

The main point I was endeavoring to get across was that uStorekeeper does not support a payment processing interface to 2checkout.com.

While the information passed *from* uStorekeeper to AuthorizeNet is similar to that passed to 2checkout.com, there is no handshake protocol to finalize the order where 2checkout.com is concerned, and so the order isn't reported to uStorekeeper.

Hope this clarifies somewhat.

Dear Mr. Pishgar,

If it is a simple workaround to get the system to write the order while talking to 2checkout.com, I would be interested in purchasing it.

Sincerely,

Hello Daniel,

I've checked into this, and have found that we are currently not allocating developer resources to constructing additional payment processing interfaces with uStorekeeper at this time.
