Tax is included - but to send sth. abroad I need it excluded

Hello,

it's me again with another I guess unusual problem.
Since everything works fine with the tax to be included, my customer in Germany now wants to send his items to Swizerland. Unfortunately the people in Swizerland do not need to pay tax, so he wants it not to be included in orders to Swizerland.
Right now the shop is set up to select the country in the shipping method field in the ordering form.
If somebody selects Swizerland in that field, he wants the tax to be exclusive.

Is that possible and how?

Thanks
Carsten Kraemer

uShop does have an option to base tax on the Country, as per the "Tax Table (Countries)" setting described in section 11.1.4. of the uShop User's Guide:

http://www.uburst.com/uShop/reference/users_guide.html

... but unfortunately, you can't use a varying tax rate if also using the "tax_inclusive" option.

You may, however, be able to solve the problem by setting up two independent copies of the uShop CGI Script... one for German orders and one for Swiss orders... and then put two uShopOrderButton applets on your store's "Place Order" HTML page. Have one button called/labeled "Orders (within Germany) and have that link to your German uShop CGI script... and have the second button called/labeled "Orders (outside Germany)and have that link to your Swiss uShop CGI script. Just an idea....

Thanks for the idea, I look into it.
