I am trying to have only customers from GA be charged 5% tax. I am able to do this but they have to select 5% from the tax menu..Is there a way to make it so they don't have to choose 5% from the drop down menu...It works great but can't get past this one problem...Thanks

Hi Ben,

I assume you're using version 2.0, right? Check out the tax information below. It explains how to do what you are describing.

select "uShopOrderDeluxeCGI.class" under "ORDER APPLETS".

Thanks, Charlie Edmunds

In particular, for uShop 2.0, you would probably want to set the following parameters on your order applet:

PARAM NAME=taxrate VALUE="0.00%"
PARAM NAME=taxtable VALUE="GA=5.0%,Georgia=5.0%"

And don't even specify the "taxmenu" and "taxnote" parameters...just delete those lines.
