MAC users having problems

Everything seems to be working fine except for MAC users. We get calls and email from MAC users saying when they get to entering tax the browser locks up. Has anyone else had problems with MACs?

We have had other reports of problems with Java applets running on the Mac version of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, however, we have not been able to verify this ourselves yet (due to lack of Mac resources). But based on customer feedback, the general response has been that the applets run fine on Macs with Netscape…but not on Macs with IE. Every now and then, however, we get someone swearing that the applets run great on Macs with IE. -- We won’t know for sure until we can do some controlled testing ourselves.

In any case, customers using either Netscape or IE with Windows or UNIX operating systems should not have any problems.

If you would like to narrow the problem down on whether the problem has to do with your configuration/HTML or if it is just has do to your Mac browser, try going to the following test page:

http://www.uburst.com/uShop/test/html/

We are sure that this example site is setup correctly - so that can narrow down whether the problem that you are seeing is related to your configuration or to your Mac IE browser.
