Volume pricing?
Author Thomas Huulbaek Andersen on 07-15-2002 at 05:33 (EST)
I just implemented the volume pricing in our shopping system, which makes buying more a lot easier and cheaper for our customers. I do:

document.uShopJSI.addProduct(
"21137",
"Asus CD-RW 24/10/40 (lagervare)",
" ",
"1",
quantity,
"1 @ 469.00, 10 @ 449.00",
"0.00",
"0.00",
"0.00",
"YES");

But... If I for example buy 10 units of this item and then continue shopping, I will get all the other products at the volume price too! How do I fix this???

Sincerely,

Thomas

To prevent the volume pricing from being applied to other products in the store... you'll need to utilize the "classification" parameter for each volume pricing item. That is, give the product a unique classification such as "volumeprice1"... and that will make sure that the volume price only applies to products with that classification. The "classification" parameter is the 3rd-to-last parameter in the JavaScript addProduct() call, so you would use something like this:

document.uShopJSI.addProduct(
"21137",
"Asus CD-RW 24/10/40 (lagervare)",
" ",
"1",
quantity,
"1 @ 469.00, 10 @ 449.00",
"0.00",
"MYCLASSIFICATION",
"0.00",
"YES");

Refer to the following URL for more details about using the "classification" parameter with a "price" table:
