|I'm thinking of creating a custom applet.|
It needs to be like uShopinput4 but for each option I need to be able to define a corresponding weight. i.e a comma separated list of weights in the weight parameter, one for each option.
The problem is how can I figure out which weight value to select from the list?
Can I obtain an index number of the selected option or scan the list for the selected option?

|If you are going to be writing your own custom Java applet... and possibly using a "Choice" drop-down component, then you can use the:|
... function to get the index of the option that was select. Perhaps you can then use that index to lookup the weight.
See http://www.ora.com/info/java/qref11/java.awt.Choice.html for more information about the methods available with a Choice AWT Java component.
