Hello folks, I'm new here so please apologise if I'm in the wrong place. I'm in the process of setting up several shops and still have quite a few configuration problems. Most important one right now is that I get the message from the shopping cart "shopping cart is full" , and that is after 20 items. Now one shop has 24 items, and the other one have 36 items, and I have another one planned with 100 + ... is there a way to program that ? Or does it depend on window size of the cart ( which i increased, except the small ones, but didn't help )

Ok .well help would be appreciated .. do i get this message as email too ?
in any case here is my sig, you might be able to reply via email too ..

Cheers, Gert

Gert,

I have bad news. uShop is limited to 20 items. I included some information from our reference site.

uShop allows up to 20 different items to be added to the shopping cart at a time. This is a limitation due to Microsoft's Internet Explorer. That is, the only way to pass data from Java applets to a CGI script is via the GET method. This method passes the data to the script by adding it after the URL (eg. http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/myscript.cgi?field1=blah&field2=moreblah&field3=evenmoreblah.........). We have discovered that the length of this location string on IE is much smaller than on Netscape and other browsers. That is, we found that 20 items worth of data is the most we can safely pass at one time to the uShop CGI script (with worrying about losing any data). If we didn't have to worry about IE, Netscape would have allowed us to more than double that.

Sorry,
