|Unfortunately, the "display_cart.html" page is required in order to be able to transfer data from uShop's Java Applets to the uShop's CGI script. You can, of course, remove the large shopping cart applet from your pages ... but then the customer wouldn't have a way to remove items from the cart. Perhaps you could just use one of the smaller shopping cart applets. Customers would then still be able to delete items from their cart by selecting the item in the cart and pressing the delete key.|
As for putting the uShopOrderButton applet on multiple pages... the only possible problem with that is that the uShopOrderButton applet will read the "template_cart.html" file when it is initialized... but I believe it was designed to only read the "template_cart.html" file once... so there shouldn't be any performance problems with each uShopOrderButton applet trying to re-read the "template_cart.html" file. So you shouldn't have any problem with that.
