Customisation of Payment Details
Author William Bowsher on 03-20-2002 at 09:19 (EST)
I currently have a modified ushop.pl that allows me to integrate to Worldpay (to a small degree).

From reading your forum it looks like the payment processor (Worldpay in this case) should send an authorisation code back to UShop so it can complete the order. This does not happen with my script. Worldpay have process called Remote Calls: Return Data I presume that I have to implement this option, if so what data needs to be set?

Secondly how do I get individual order lines from the cart, this would make the customer copies of the order more readable.

Apart from that UShop is great!!

The interface you should be using is the "ClickPay" interface... as "ClickPay" is compatible with WorldPay. The ClickPay interface will pass uShop's $secure_script_url parameter to ClickPay/WorldPay as the "clickpay_redirect" parameter. That is the URL that ClickPay/WorldPay will post the response to. (This is known as ClickPay's "Simple API" interface).

In regard to "individual order lines from the cart", what exactly are you referring to there? If you are referring to the email receipt... the standard uShop order receipt will included all of the shopping cart data.... so once you resolve the problem of returning the response from ClickPay/WorldPay, the uShop CGI script will send the standard receipt.

Has clickpay been included in the ushop.pl as standard now, because the ushop.pl I have only uses the custom payment method?

Clickpay no longer exist as a payment processor, they were acquired by Worldpay in October 2001. Is there any chance that the Clickpay interface will be upgraded to function fully with one of the Worldpay integration options

If "ClickPay" is out of business, then I don't know if WorldPay still supports that interface or not.

If WorldPay does still support the ClickPay interface/API, then the response will be sent back to the uShop CGI script as described in my previous POST.

If WorldPay does not support the ClickPay interface any more, then I do not know what sort of response they send back... at least not without looking their interface specs. If any changes are required to your modified uShop CGI script... they would probably need to be made to the "complete_order" subroutine of your ushop.pl script in order to handle receiving/validating the response that WorldPay sends back.

Thanks for the reply, I will go off and read my perl manual now and see if I can get it working.

Do you want a copy if I get it working?

We may be able to post it at:

http://www.uburst.com/uShop/developers.html

However, access may have to be license controlled since the changes would be to the CGI script of the full version. TBD.

Let us know if you have any questions... and Good Luck!
