custom & contact me payment
Author M Ulm on 08-26-2002 at 13:32 (EST)
Hi
I'm trying to set it up so my phone customers can call me with their order number and I will get their info from that. I tried the custom payment and the contact me payment. Both jumped to my thank you page withour showing the customer an order page, like I get with the print order payment. I use the thank you page for online credit cards. If this is fixable is there a way to add the order number to the order page so the customer can use it.
Thanks

If you are using a custom "Thank you" page, then yes, the "custom" and "contact me" payment options will also link customers to that final thank you page.

So as per your other/duplicate postings, if you just want to include the $order_number at the top of the "Print Form"... then here are some steps:

STEP 1: Make a backup of your current ushop-lib.pl file... just in case.

STEP 2: Open your ushop-lib.pl file with any text editor such as WordPad.

STEP 3: Do a search on the following line:

$order_instructions = $settings[62];

STEP 4: Immediately AFTER that line, add this line:

$order_instructions .= "< BR > < BR > Your order number is: $order_number";

(In the above line, there should NOT be spaces around the two "BR"s.)

STEP 5: Save the script... as TEXT if your editor asks... and try it out!

that worked. Sorry for the duplicate postings.
Thanks
