Is there anyway you can make the cart check to see if an item is already in the cart and then just update the quantity if the button is pressed again instead of writing a new line?

I have been getting a lot of orders on 2.0 where the customer is to dumb or to lazy to change the quantity before pressing the button. I will be switching to 3.0 next month.

This makes it difficult for the order fillers who have to go back and get the same item again. We have 80,000 sq ft. of warehouse space so it can be a long walk.

I have been editing the html file to keep them from having to do that, but it is a lot of extra work.

Thank you
Ron Harter

Not at this time..... but we'll look into it. One of the problems will be that the check would not only have to be done on the "Product ID"....but also on any options. For example, a red shirt and a blue shirt - both with the same Product ID - shouldn't be combined because the colors are different.

Anyway, I'll add it to our ever-growing future features list.
