Author marcel emmen on 04-09-2001 at 14:06 (EST)
Hi there,

I want to use the echeck_template for a other payment methode. How can i disable some field on this template because i don't need them all.

When i remove them from the template only i get a message MISSING INFORMATION and can't complete the order.

Thankx

Below are some instructions on how to disable the required field check on some of the echeck fields:

STEP 1: Make a backup of your current ushop-lib.pl script... just in case.

STEP 2: Open your "ushop-lib.pl" file with any text editor such as WordPad.

STEP 3: Do a search on the following line:

sub validate_electronic_check_parameters

(This will get you to the start of the subroutine that validates the echeck fields.)

STEP 4: Within that subroutine, you will see one "if" statement. To disable the require field check, just delete the desired fields from that "if" statement.

STEP 5: After making your desired changes to that subroutine... save the file (as TEXT if your editor asks)... and then try it out!
