Battling away at my computer trying to get ushop to work perfectly on IE on Mac, it has just dawned on me 'Has anybody got it to work’?
I mean perfectly. No exceptions.

I've tried every possible setting in the Java preference area, downloaded the latest MRJ, checked - rechecked -rerechecked my coding, read every bit of text on the subject but still can't get the thing to work correctly.

So my question to this forum is "Does anybody have a working example of their website that works with IE Mac."???

If so please post url.

Based on feedback we have gotten by various volunteer Macintosh Internet Explorer users:

1) IE on Macs seems to have a problem with Java applets notifying each of other of changes via "callbacks". Thus, your best chance there would be to use the "threaded" version of the shopping cart applets which use a "polling" technique to continuously "poll" for changed data.

2) Also, IE on Macs seems to have a problem with Java applets maintaining "Static Class Data" when the browser changes pages. Thus, the other thing to try is using the "full URL as the CODEBASE setting" of your uShop applets.

That's about all we know right now. See http://www.uburst.com/uShop/macs.html for the latest information on the subject.
