RE: Authorizenet password mode Author Bill Weiner on 11-12-2002 at 05:36 (EST) | | (On October 30, 2002) Authorize.Net just released a new API called Simple Integration Method (SIM) which offers increased security and robustness. We are in the process of developing a new interface to Authorize.Net that uses this new API. It will be available by December 31 (hopefully sooner).
In the mean time, if you have your own secure server, you could try using uShop to collect the credit card information and then manually process the transactions on your Authorize.Net virtual terminal. This would allow you to get a new (and secret) merchant id/password from Authorize.Net and put your merchant account in password only mode.

2. Authorize.net AIM or SIM Update Author Robert Hess on 03-27-2003 at 13:41 (EST) | | Has anything been released to allow for U-shop to plug into the new Authroize.net AIM or SIM requirements, including the password required mod. Authnet is about to suspend Web-link connections, so this would leave me to believe they will not be able to accept direct tranmissions from ushop carts in the near future.
Does this mean that Ushop customers will no longer be able to "automatically" process their cards using one of the largest gateway providors in the world? Are we reduce to manually keying in all credit card purchases or finding another cart solution?
