The fact that you are receiving one email ... yet no order files are being written, leads me to believe that you may have the "scriptpath" parameter of your order applet still pointing to the "ushop_cgiscript.pl" on OUR server. Check and make sure that the "scriptpath" parameter of your order applet is actually pointing to the URL of the script on YOUR server.

my html is as follows:
[APPLET CODE = "uShopOrderCGI.class" WIDTH=450 HEIGHT=680]
[PARAM NAME=scriptpath VALUE="http://www.schustershoes.dynip.com/cgi-bin/ushop_cgiscript.pl"]
i believe this is the correct scriptpath but if i am wrong please correct me.

Make sure that your order applet is actually using that "scriptpath" because it is not possible for an email notification to get sent without an order file being written....thus the reason I'm guessing that your order applet's scriptpath is pointing to the test ushop_cgiscript on our server. So double-check that.
