First I have to say that I've been very happy with uShop v.3. We were using the free v.2 before that and the difference is tremendous! Support is wonderful. All my questions have been answered in a timely manner.
We use uShop in a very simple way compared to many of the other people who post here. But I'd like to know that if a customer prints out the order form in preparation to mail it to us with check or money order payment, is there a way to also get it to email to us, just like the credit card orders do? It would be helpful if we knew what mail orders were coming in.

Thanks for the nice compliments! :^)
In regard to sending an email whenever the customer chooses the print option, you are correct, the "Print Payment Option" in uShop 3.0 does not send any emails.... but depending on what other payment options you are using, there are a couple different options:
OPTION 1: If not already using the "'Contact Me' Payment Option", then you could try using that payment option instead of the "Print Payment Option". This would simply entail changing the 'Contact Me' instructions and button label via the "GENERAL SETTINGS - PAYMENT OPTIONS" control panel form.
OPTION 2: OR, if not already using the "COD Payment Option", then you could try using that payment option instead of the "Print Payment Option". This would simply entail changing the "COD" instructions and button label via the "GENERAL SETTINGS - PAYMENT OPTIONS" control panel form.
OPTION 3: OR lastly, if you can't use the "Contact Me" payment option nor the "COD" payment option instead of the "Print" payment option, then let me know and I can send you instructions on how to modify the "display_print_order_form" subroutine to send an email.

Not unless you install a perl interpretter and a web server on the machine that you want to run the scripts on.

|If I used one of those other payment options, how will the customer print out the order to mail in? Right now it's obvious with the "Print Payment Option", but using the "Contact Me" option, for example & changing the button label would accomplish us getting an email of the order, but I don't want to confuse my customers. Any advice? Thanks.

You could basically set both the button label AND the instructions of the "Contact Me" option to read exactly as your "Print Payment Option" does. This will essentially make the "Contact Me" option function exactly like the "Print Payment" option... except that it will also send the email notification to the storeowner.
Will that work for you?
